Arugula / Rocket microgreens 30g

£2.99

Arugula or Rocket microgreens are milder than its more peppery namesake, with a nutty flavour. Add them to the final stage of a dish such as pasta, soup, salads, omelettes and pizzas. These delicate leaves can wilt quickly if left in the sun – which does make an appearance here in the UK now and then so worth mentioning; keep them cool until serving.

What’s its story?

Arugula is native to the Mediterranean and has been grown since ancient times. It was then brought to the US by European colonists but didn’t become well-known until the ‘90s. Micro Arugula was created in the US in the ‘80s-’90s, around the same time that the mature herb increased in popularity.
