Red rambo radish microgreens 50g

Radishes are usually a winter ingredient, but its red Rambo micro variant can be enjoyed all year round. Its leaves taste surprisingly similar to the mature vegetable – the white carrot like vegetable that’s known for its sharp flavour. Microgreen radishes add a sharp and peppery tang and bring to life any salad.

What’s its story?

Varieties of radish can be found almost all around the world, but strangely almost no archeological record that determined their early origins and history can be found. However, they first entered the historical record in the third century BC. The radish seems to have been one of the first European crops introduced to the Americas. The large, mild, and white East Asian form was developed in China, though the Daikon variety is mostly associated with Japan.
